Corinthians 13:4–8a Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails ... (NIV)
“The difference between an ordinary marriage and an extraordinary marriage is in giving just a little ‘extra’ every day, as often as possible, for as long as we both shall live.” -Fawn Weaver
"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul; that makes us reach for more, that plants the fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. That’s what I hope to give you forever." — The Notebook
Some advice for the men..Every woman wants a man who respects her for her values, virtues and ethics. She wants a man who is proud of her strong character and her unique personality. A man who can support her unconditionally and stay connected to her soulfully. A woman who loves you truly will never ask you to buy her expensive gifts or take her to expensive places. She won’t ask for diamonds, rubies or a promise to bring her a world of luxuries. She just wants your love, care and attention. She wants you to spend a lot of quality time with her and appreciate her for all that she does for you out of love and affection. Every woman is unique in her own way and she wants to be the most appealing woman in her man’s life. A woman’s heart is so full of love for the man of her life that she just gives it freely even for the little he does for her. She doesn’t want commitments and promises she just wanted to be loved to the core.
Marriage emerged some forty-five hundred years ago and evolved into a widespread and accepted institution that bonded families, maintained order, and created wealth. Unlike today, where many of us are searching for our romantic "soul mate," marriage was originally more about economics than deep emotion.
If your goal is to have a satisfying marriage with longevity, make sure you are accountable for the part you play in the relationship—good or bad. When you are in denial about your part in the relationship then you are no better than a child flinging sand at another child in a sandbox. When you take responsibility for your part in the marriage, only then will you be able to connect with your partner in a mature, intimate way.
“Love is a partnership of two unique people who bring out the very best in each other, and who know that even though they are wonderful as individuals, they are even better together.” -Barbara Cage
Wedding wishes are always fun to have at a friend or family members wedding reception. These wishes have become part of the wedding culture and offer humor or sentiment. One of major distraction while giving a proper wedding congratulation is when people are put on the spot. If you maintain your bearing you can get away with offering up a life experience as advice to the newlyweds or, you might be able to reflect on a funny moment in their life. You can never go wrong while telling a funny story and wishing the newly married couple a wonderful life together. Be sure that any memories or advice that you offer to the newlyweds won’t end up being a “party killer”. Keep your toasts and wishes tasteful and rich with valuable knowledge. If you don’t have what it takes to push out an amazing wedding wish you can always play it safe with other ways of wishing them a happy life.
