| From the designer:Cake by Melissa L’Abbe Cake Design in Barrie, Ontario "The design for this cake was inspired by elements that I love as well as current trends in colour and style. I love a white cake, I love elegance, clean lines and the vintage feel you get from cakes dripping in pearls. For this cake I incorporated the elegance of white, the vintage feel of pearls and tied in the ombre trend in purple hues through sugar flowers." Photography by Carlo Mendoza |
