Seating Advice
It's important for grandparents to know what to expect at your grandchild's wedding.
Grandparents are generally seated immediately before the parents. The traditional order is bride’s maternal grandparents, groom’s maternal grandparents, bride’s paternal grandparents and groom’s paternal grandparents. Alternatively, sometimes grandparents are simply seated when they arrive, but are seated in the first or second row. You’ll want to know what the plan is ahead of time. At the reception grandparents usually are seated with the parents at a family table which is near the head table.
